Politics Is The Art Of Social Compromise

The "power of a cartoon" is an honestly truthful answer.
There are many definitions for the term "Politics." However, very few of these textbook definitions are truly succinct, concise, and clearly explanative of this frequently utilized social term.

For Instance:
  • Wikipedia says: "Politics is a process by which groups of people make collective decisions. The term is generally applied to behavior within civil governments, but politics has been observed in other group interactions, including corporate, academic, and religious institutions. It consists of social relations involving authority or power and refers to the regulation of a political unit, and to the methods and tactics used to formulate and apply policy."
  • FreeDictionary.com says: "Politics is the art [or science] of government or governing, especially the governing of a political entity, such as a nation, and the administration and control of its internal and external affairs."
  • Knowledgerush.com says: "Politics is the study and conduct of decision-making power (who's got it, and who hasn't) at the inter-social and societal levels."

Politics is, "The art of social compromise - within a much larger society - of opposite and competing factions." Contrary to all of those previous definitions, Politics has absolutely nothing to do with government specifically; or even directly! Politics is a [mere] fact of innate human life - which occurs everywhere two, or more, individual humans are gathered together. It occurs within America's: churches, businesses, civic organizations, schools, and even public playgrounds. Everywhere some sort of social compromise is [honestly] required, politics is an absolute societal necessity!

The Real American Is Now Moving Up To Videos

"The Real American"
For those of you, who have been following The Real American's internet presence over the last 8 months, you have probably noted that my: organizational skills, writing style, and online capabilities have been largely and rapidly improving. Let's face it, folks, my blogs have improved considerably, my postings are becoming more functionally informational, and I am finally beginning to get noticed online! And either it's a complete and total fluke, or my overall ranking in the search engines has [even] begun to increase substantially, as well. We are now on the very first page, for a number of search-able terms, and in the very first position for some.

As one, of over 30 million Unemployed Americans, I started out with nothing but a computer and a dream - to largely assist my fellow hurting Americans. That vision was to provide an open and unrestricted outlet for The Truth, as our ancestors understood it to be and as many of us continue to understand it. Whether it is "Politically Correct," or not, is entirely irrelevant - while honestly considering our current dilemma! Of course, The Truth has seldom [if ever] been politically correct in any nation and particularly in ours....

  • If Equality Under The Law is politically incorrect, then so be it. It is still "The Law" - even when we continually fail to acknowledge it!
  • If Our Freedom Of Speech is now being viewed as "Domestic Terrorism" - by those at the top - then they better start reading those documents that they've sworn to willingly uphold and protect!
  • And if Our Newspapers and Media Outlets are refusing to do their own assigned jobs, then others will inevitably step up and do it for them. Freedom Of The Press doesn't belong to our corporate conglomerates alone.

Who And/Or What Is “The Truth About America”

It has recently come to my attention, as a Political Editorialist and Social Commentarian, that South Carolina has an [honest-to-God] law requiring a registration of anyone who - participates in, speaks up for, or intends to promote the overthrow of either: The State of South Carolina, or The Federal Governmental Entity… since my writings, may be wrongly perceived [or incorrectly viewed] as possessing a certain inflammatory nature, I have decided that two things must occur, before I continue my honestly good-natured and well-intended activities.

First, I wish to make a very important statement regarding the overall purpose of this website or blog…. We are, an informational site [ONLY], dedicated to supplying “Real Americans” everywhere - with “The Truth about our current societal condition as a nation and political-economic society!” Nothing here: “either promotes, encourages, or intends the overthrow of any physical human government… whether: South Carolina’s, that of The United States’, or any other!”

Popular Democracy A Vehicle For Tyranny

One reader of yesterday’s editorials, brought up a very important issue, of which our more enlightened ancestors were fully aware, and our own more modern generation doesn’t seem to grasp. The concept of “Tyranny” – as literally defined, philosophically alluded to, or even spiritually grasped – has absolutely nothing to do with the physical number, or percentile quantity, of the participants to such unethical, immoral, illegal, anti-social, and politically dis-enfranchising behaviors! While a “Dictator,” “Despot,” or “King,” may only be one individual; it requires a numerous number of [objectively] other Tyrants in order to achieve and [extensively] maintain his undeserved political power.

As our ancestors were so oft to say, “Birds of a feather, oft stay together” and nowhere is this saying more true than while living under a Tyranny…. Could Hitler, Lenin, or Mao have accomplished their tasks without the readily apparent aid of millions, throughout their own nations? Could Franco, Mussolini, or Peron have maintained their political hegemonies without a large percentage of their own populations walking behind them? Of course, not! Just as criminals will [often] team up in order to accomplish their objectives [even though they, may, personally hate one another]… Despotisms require Tyrants to combine their forces for [their-own] mutually beneficial purposes!

The Importance Of Religious Perspective

The Traditional American Worldview has [always] been comprised of the three co-existent and co-equal philosophical threads of: History, Religion, and Politics! That is because; each of these highly relevant societal threads offers a unique depth of insight into, and perspective upon, the moral and ethical choices we face as an active, vibrant, and dynamic society - at large.

Most of us [modern Americans], understand the blatant relevance of Politics in a world where: numerous competing interests, vigorous debates, and highly essential compromises are a societal-given. Many of us [well-educated Americans], can perceive the importance of History where our own personal experiences have given us an important insight into its readily apparent value - in general. However, very few of us [thoroughly-jaded Americans] may even speculate upon their seemingly unwise attachment to Religion as a relevant societal underpinning! Why would they incorporate such [seemingly-backward] concepts into their ongoing and forward looking societal equations? Why, indeed?

Free Market Governance

Quote:
"Those who fail to learn from the experiences of history are destined to repeat the mistakes of it!"

A little over 200 years ago, our enlightened ancestors - The Founding Fathers - devised a system of governance, which was fundamentally different from any other devised by man; either before, or since. "The Great Experiment," as Lincoln later referred to it, was a beneficial Union of Interdependent and Sovereign American States. It was designed in such a way as to: "Protect the general welfare [i.e.. protect individual freedoms]," "Ensure the domestic tranquility [i.e.. ensure political and societal stability]," and promote the concept of Free Market Government!

Free Market Government is not only a uniquely American concept, it is [also] the greatest single concept ever devised by man! Its practical application: ensured the maximization of Personal Freedom to its individual citizens [while providing a much-needed common political and societal framework to operate under] , spurred valuable innovation in the area of governmental services [while inspiring necessary economy and efficiency in government], and elevated respect for the due process of law [while providing a peaceable and beneficial mechanism of escape from oppressive regulations and/or restrictions on the part of individual governments]. All the individual citizen need merely do is to take up his things and simply walk away! In an ever evolving diversity of Individually Sovereign States, there would always be others more to his liking somewhere... and if not, then he [along with the numerous others, so politically inclined] could start his own - more to his own liking.
